Finding work - the total package

A couple times a week, I get (usually) an email asking for help in finding a job.  I have over the past several years tried to help those as best I can.  It's too much to do over an email or a phone call.

So I am changing my strategy.  In response to these ongoing requests, I am starting a 4 week workshop in the fall.

Topics are:

Materials
-resume, cover letter, correspondence

Electronic presence
-where you should be and what you should say

Job hunting
-where to look, how to network, what to wear and NOT wear

Interviewing
-what to say, how to say it, and when to stop talking

I am going to limit these workshops to a handful of people.  It is in Grand Rapids so you will want to be local.  Drop me a note if you are interested.

The fact that you are willing to take time out of your day to help others find a job and in the right way is amazing. Many people would not do that. Below is a link to an HR blog that I think you would like.
